Nerdy Yin Yoga
Don’t worry – this is not a fitness class. You don’t need to be flexible like social media yogis. This is Yin Yoga for curious minds that takes the brain along while practicing.
I am a trained yoga teacher and psychologist, and I have always been fascinated by how body and mind work together. In this experiential session, slow Yin Yoga postures are combined with accessible explanations of what is happening in your body and nervous system while we are practicing.
Your body gets to feel the effects, while your mind gets food for thought. The exercises are gentle and slow – in Yin Yoga, poses are usually held for 3–5 minutes and mostly take place on the ground. No special fitness level or sportswear is required. Openness to feel and learn is enough.
