Working at the Forensic and Legal Medicine Center within the Clinical Centre of Montenegro.
As a PhD candidate at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia, he is advancing AI research in forensic pathology.
From 2012 to 2017, Dr. Šabanović was president of MoMSIC (Montenegro Medical Students' International Committee), fostering international collaboration and leadership among medical students. He currently holds a role as a member of the Health Commission at the European Judo Union, promoting athlete welfare and medical standards in judo.
Between 2023 and 2024, he served as a referral doctor for the European Union Delegation Office in Montenegro.
