A Taste of Montenegro: Early Arrivals Feast
Arriving early to Podgorica? Start your EMAG 2026 experience the best way possible, with incredible local food! We have partnered with the Gastro HUB restaurant to organize a special "Welcome Feast" for all early arrivals.
This is a perfect opportunity to meet fellow Mensans before the main rush begins, while indulging in authentic Montenegrin cuisine. You can choose between two carefully crafted traditional menus: a rich Meat Menu featuring the famous "Veal under the bell", or a delicious Fish Menu highlighting local river and sea specialties. Additionally, our partners from gastro Hub were so kind to prepare a specially crafted international Vegan Menu for our plant-based guests.

The Menu Options / Meni
🥩 MEAT MENU (Authentic Montenegrin)
- Cold Appetizer (200g): Njeguši prosciutto, Kolašin layered cheese, and homemade clotted cream (kajmak)
- Warm Appetizer (100g): Traditional Montenegrin cornmeal dish (Kačamak) served with sour milk
- Main Course (250g): Veal under the bell – slow-cooked to perfection in the traditional way (Teletina ispod sača)
- Dessert: Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream
🐟 FISH MENU (Authentic Montenegrin)
- Cold Appetizer (100g): Traditional smoked carp
- Warm Appetizer: Savory rice prepared with prunes and pieces of carp
- Main Course (250g): Wild sea bass fillet served with grilled seasonal vegetables
- Dessert: Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream
🌱 VEGAN MENU (International)
- Cold Appetizer: Mixed salad (arugula, cherry tomatoes, fresh cucumber, olive oil, lemon dressing).
- Warm Appetizer: Creamy pumpkin soup (pumpkin, onion, garlic, plant-based cream or coconut milk, spices).
- Main Course: Vegetable curry pasta + basmati rice (zucchini, bell peppers, carrots, curry paste, coconut milk, spices, basmati rice).
- Dessert: Sorbet (lemon, orange, fresh ginger, sugar, water).
